The Faraday Institution has invested a further £19M into research focused on batteries, to deliver impact for the UK in electrodes, manufacturing, cathode research and sodium ion batteries.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Patrick Grant and Professor Saiful Islam are leading two of the projects which will benefit from this investment; the Nextrode project (electrode manufacturing) is led by Professor Grant, whereas the CATMAT (lithium ion cathode materials) project is led by Professor Islam.
