First Female Winner of Riviere Prize: Dr Alison Crossley

The 2020 Riviere Prize, has been awarded to Dr Alison Crossley by UK Surface Analysis Forum; the first female recipient in the history of this prize.

 

The award is formal recognition of the wide-ranging significance of Dr Crossley's research in surface analysis, and its positive impact on other scientists' work, on an international scale.

 

Dr Crossley is the Deputy Manager of our Oxford Materials Characterisation Service (OMCS), which is a customer-orientated rapid solution provider.  OMCS offers a comprehensive service for the investigation of materials and materials-related problems, including microscopy, surface analysis, X-ray techniques, molecular spectroscopy, thermal analysis and particle size analysis.
