Clara Barker: IoP Diversity & Inclusion rep

 Congratulations to Dr Clara Barker, who has been announced as the new Diversity and Inclusion Representative for the Institute of Physics (IoP).

This important role will help shape the vital equality work within the IoP, and in our opinion they could not have made a better choice because Dr Barker has a wealth of relevant experience.

When asked about the appointment, Clara said:

"I look forward to working with various different groups who share a passion for physics but feel they cannot achieve their maximum potential.  

If we can work towards a more inclusive and welcoming physics environment, then the real winner is physics itself".
