The Oxford Materials Project Management Scheme for research students

This enables and encourages students to take responsibility for the successful progress and outcome of their research by prompting them to assess expectations and progress throughout the duration of the DPhil. The following forms must be completed by each student in consultation with their supervisor, at approximately six-monthly intervals.

Word Project Management Form 1 - Project Description Form
Upload to Weblearn in Week 6 of your first term - usually Michelmas Term

Word Project Management Form 2 - First Year Report Form
Upload to Weblearn in weeks 6-7 of your third term - usually Trinity Term

Word Project Management Form 3 - Project Analysis Form
Upload to Weblearn a pdf scanned copy of PMF3A countersigned by your supervisor by noon on Tuesday of week 3 of your 4th Term (usually MT of your 2nd year).
Upload PMF3B to Weblearn in weeks 6-7 of your 6th term (usually TT of your 2nd year).
Upload all other PMF3 forms to Weblearn in weeks 6-7 of Michaelmas Term and Trinity Term.

Word Project Management Form 4 - Project Analysis Form
Upload a pdf copy to Weblearn  by one of:
3 year projects - Friday of 2nd week of your 9th term, usually your final Trinity Term;
3.5 year projects - Friday of 0th week of your 10th term, usually your final Michaelmas Term;
Fusion CDT projects – Friday of 0th week of your 12th term, that is your final Trinity Term;
Diamond & TMCS CDT projects – Friday of 2nd week of your 9th term on the DPhil programme, that is your final Trinity Term;
MSc(Res) projects - Friday of 5th week of your 6th term, usually your final Trinity Term.
