The Oxford Materials Project Management Scheme for research students

This scheme enables and encourages students to take responsibility for the successful progress and outcome of their research by prompting them to assess expectations and progress throughout the duration of the DPhil. The following forms must be completed by each student in consultation with their supervisor, at approximately six-monthly intervals.  The deadlines for submission are given in your Graduate Course Handbook

Word Project Management Form 1 - Project Description Form
Upload PMF1 and its associated Gantt Chart, as a single pdf, to Weblearn in Week 0-1 of your second term - usually HilaryTerm

Word Project Management Form 2 - First Year Report Form
Upload PMF2 and its associated Gantt Chart, as a single pdf, to Weblearn in your tenth month - usually July

Word Project Management Form 3 - Regular Project Analysis Form (2017/18 starters)
Upload relevant form as per the instruction on the actual form and your Graduate Course Handbook

Word Project Management Form 4 - Completion Phase (2017/18 starters)
Upload relevant form as per the instruction on the actual form and your Graduate Course Handbook

Word Project Management Form 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E - Regular Project Analysis Form (being phased out and from 2017/18 onwards all new starters should use the new form above)
Upload to Weblearn a pdf of PMF3A by noon on Tuesday of week 3 of your fourth term, usually Michaelmas Term of your second year (this pdf version must be countersigned by your supervisor). Upload another PMF3 form to Weblearn in weeks 6-7 of Michaelmas Term and Trinity Term.

 Word Project Management Form 4 - Completion Phase (being phased out and from 2017/18 onwards all new starters should use the new form above)
Upload a pdf copy to Weblearn by one of:
3 year projects - Friday of 2nd week of your 9th term, usually your final Trinity Term
3.5 year projects - Friday of 0th week of your 10th term, usually your final Michaelmas Term
Fusion CDT projects - Friday of 0th week of your 12th term, that is your final Trinity Term
Diamond & TMCS CDT projects - Friday of 2nd week of your 9th term on the DPhil programme, that is your final Trinity Term
MSc(Res) projects - Friday of 5th week of your 6th term, usually your final Trinity Term
