Summary of Interests
Modelling and understanding fundamental solidification processes: This has included work on eutectics, peritectics, cellular and dendritic growth. The fundamental understanding has been applied to casting processes. Recent work includes an experimental and theoretical studies of twin roll casting and differential scanning calorimetry.
