iPrint with Windows

Below gives detailed instructions for installing iPrint printers under Windows XP using Firefox. The instructions are very similar for Internet Explorer but please note that these instructions do NOT work for Chrome. If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 then you need open the web browser using right-click and RunAs Administrator.

Step1: Visit http://iprint.materials.ox.ac.uk/ipp . If you know the name of the printer then select from list, otherwise click on the "Location" column heading to sort by location and scroll to find the printer you wish to install (in this example I am using bb8550 the general purpose colour printer at Begbroke)
