Between 1992 and 2008 OCAMAC Newsletters contained news of of research activity within the University and with industry, but OCAMAC has now been disbanded.
Department History
There are a few historical articles about the Department of Materials, however more articles or annecdotes about the history of the Department would be gratefully received!
Events
Advanced notice: There will be an Alumni Dinner on Friday 28th September 2012 at St Edmund Hall. Formal invitations from the Department, together with cost and booking details, will be sent out in April. In the meantime please put the date into your diary and into your travel plans. (Kevin Fisher & Mike Burden, Alumni Association Committee).
On 1st October 2010 the Department held a Reunion Dinner for 75 people at St Edmund Hall. The event was very successful and enjoyable but it was over-subscribed and many were disappointed.
On 29th September 2006 the Department held a 50th Anniversary Event (openday and dinner) which was very successful, being attended by more than 300 people. View the photos here!
