Admissions

Each year the Department of Materials accepts around 34 students to study for four years towards a degree in Materials Science (MS) or Materials, Economics and Management (MEM).

Each year the Department of Materials accepts around 30 students to study for three or more years towards a doctorate (DPhil  degree).

The Department of Materials has an active program of Schools Outreach activities ranging from Open Days for prospective students, Head Start residential courses for year 12 students, subject Master-classes and teaching resources.
